Our client was injured with a broken arm and leg when a person pulled out in front of his motorcycle when they did not have the right of way. Our client was only offered $50,000.00 for the resolution of his claim, but we uncovered and fought for an additional $75,000.00 from three other insurance policies of $25,000.00 each. Policy limits were obtained on every available policy.
Laser burns resulting from a hair removal procedure.
Property Damage/Consumer Protection
Our client was a homeowner whose property was damaged by a roofing company. The roofing company offered $30,000.00 at the outset of the case, and later reduced their offer to $10,000.00 before trial. They refused to pay fair value for our client’s claim, so we took them to trial and obtained a jury verdict of $78,000.00 – the full amount of damages we requested. The roofing and insurance companies later settled after trial for $115,000.00, over ten times the amount of their last offer before trial.

Our client was cut off by another motorcyclist which resulted in a head injury. The insurance company denied liability claiming the accident was our client’s fault. We filed a lawsuit and the insurance company paid their policy limits shortly after filing suit.
A negligent worker ran over our client’s leg on a construction site with a Bobcat lifter. We were able to obtain a successful out-of-court settlement for our client’s fractured leg injuries.
Our client hired a defense attorney to represent him after he was accused of a crime, and the attorney did almost nothing in his representation of our client. The defense attorney settled the case days before trial for the full amount of our demand.
Slip and Fall Accident
Our client slipped and fell on ice in the parking lot of her apartment complex. The insurance company for the complex denied any wrongdoing for failing to remedy snow and ice conditions in the parking lot. Our client had been turned down by a prior firm who told her it was doubtful she would ever get a recovery under Kansas law. After our firm got involved and showed the apartment complex laid salt only on sidewalks but not in the residents’ parking lot to save money, we were able to obtain a successful $60,000.00 out-of-court settlement.
Dog Bite Injury
Our client was attacked by a dog after knocking on the door of someone’s home. The insurance company refused to pay a dime before suit was filed, claiming the incident was our client’s fault and the dog had no prior vicious behavior. We were able to obtain a $50,000.00 settlement after filing suit against the at-fault party.
Our client was involved in a highway accident and suffered a hip injury. We obtained full policy limits from the insurance company for her injuries.

Our client was involved in an intersection accident. Liability was disputed as each driver claimed they had the correct light. We fought the insurance company and despite the fact liability was contested, we obtained a fair settlement for our client.
Our client was driven off the road by another driver who then fled the scene of the accident. Our client’s insurance company denied uninsured motorist coverage and refused to pay anything for her injuries, arguing that our client made up the other vehicle. After suing the insurance company, we were able to obtain policy limits for uninsured motorist coverage under her Missouri policy.
Our client was struck by a drunk driver and suffered neck and back injuries. The insurance company for the at-fault driver refused to offer anything more than $5,000.00 before suit was filed. After we filed a lawsuit, we obtained the $25,000.00 policy limits for the at-fault driver to compensate our client for his injuries.
Our client was rear-ended at low speed by an intoxicated driver. The insurance company argued that our client could not have been injured by the accident due to the lack of damage to the vehicles. Despite the minor nature of the accident, we argued that the egregiousness of the conduct of the other driver justified higher damages. The insurance company settled shortly thereafter.
